Description

Ghariyal Pittikai is a sculptural bench from The Vernacular Modern’s Co existence collection, where endangered species and endangered crafts are held within the same narrative. Inspired by the Ghariyal, the fish eating crocodile native to India and Nepal, the piece transforms the animal’s long, fragile body into a life scale form that you can sit on, live with, and reflect upon.
